This year we will be going to Sunset Trail Farm in McKinney. 

Their 2-hour educational field trips give students a fun, hands-on opportunity to experience science, agriculture, and the natural world on a working farm. Students rotate through activities including a guided farm tour, learning about and interacting with our Nigerian Dwarf goats and other farm animals, an earthworm activity and craft, and time to explore and play in the pumpkin patch.  You are welcome to bring a picnic lunch. They also have concessions: blackberry lemonade, soft pretzels, kettle corn and all-natural shaved ice.  Prices range from $2-5 (cash only please).  Students will take home a small pumpkin! This establishment is cash only, including admission prices.
